Grace Dawson

Director of Brand – Jones Knowles Ritchie, NYC

Grace began her career in London, leading the accounts of some of the world’s most famous brands, including M&M’s, Snickers and Twix. When New York City beckoned in 2015, she left the candy behind, working with her team to solve business challenges through design and creativity. She has lead and contributed to the agency’s successful work with clients big and small, from Unilever and Diageo, to Kashi and Walker & Co. Her understanding of brands and her passion for creativity and culture saw her move into the role of Director of Brand. In this role Grace’s mission is to guide and shape the reputation and culture of JKR in New York City. Her passion for the work also enables her to nurture the creative output of the studio. Her belief that creativity can drive change lead to her founding and leading the New York arm of the JKR Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the agency.

Grace earned her BA in English at the University of Exeter in England and currently works as a teaching assistant for the Masters of Branding program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She also volunteers as a mentor for D&AD’s New Blood Shift program. She has been on the judging panel of the ADC, Dieline and AME awards and her work has been recognized by D&AD, ADC, One Show, Graphis and more.
