Group Strategy Director – Y&R, New York

Bediz graduated from Galatasaray University in Istanbul, with a degree in Political Science and Public Administration. His political communication project got awarded by the French government with a Bourse d’Excellence. He got his MA in Management and Business Administration of Communication at the University of Toulouse. He started his career in advertising in the European Business Development department in HAVAS Worldwide, in Paris. Later, he returned to Turkey and worked in BBDO TURKEY as a Strategic Planner, in Alametifarika as Brand Director and returned to BBDO TURKEY as Strategic Planning Director. He later joined Y&R ISTANBUL as Head of Planning and was promoted to CSO of all group agencies. In 2017, Bediz was relocated to New York as Group Strategy Director of Y&R North America and he’s overseeing the strategy for Technology & Business practice.
