Stacy Malone


NA Head of Vertical Marketing – Facebook, USA


Stacy is currently the Head of North America Vertical Marketing at Facebook. In this role, Stacy is responsible for leading and developing marketing teams, strategies and programs that increase awareness, enhance adoption and drive revenue growth across over 15 vertical industry segments.

Stacy came to Facebook with over 20 years of Media agency experience working on a broad spectrum of clients. Most recently, Stacy served at UM (an IPG Agency) for 14 years in a variety of capacities ranging from establishing the UM San Francisco digital competency 10 years ago to serving as the US, COO and transforming it into the full-fledged integrated Media agency it is today.

Prior to serving as the US COO, Stacy was the EVP, Global Managing Director of the UM San Francisco office. In this role, she led 100+ team members and partnered with clients such as Microsoft, Sony Pictures, Hotwire, Charles Schwab, Ghirardelli, and Slack to help them achieve their business goals. For over 5 years, Stacy led the Microsoft Global Media AOR relationship across 40 countries and $1B in annual Media investment. She built the MSFT account into a top 5 IPG client and oversaw the launch of the largest consumer campaign in MSFT history. While running the UMSF office, Stacy also led agency new business efforts as well as achieved client and office P&L goals.

She has won numerous awards including UM Employee of the year, had multiple campaigns ‘shortlisted’ at Cannes and was named one of Media Magazine’s “Top Rising Stars”. Before coming to UM, Stacy was a member of the founding team for a cutting-edge digital agency in San Francisco – Exile on 7th – that was purchased by
