Toygun Yilmazer

Chief Strategy Officer – TBWA, Turkey

Toygun Yilmazer started his career at IXIR, the disruptive ISP company and at the end of 2000, he joined TBWA\Istanbul as an account planner. He gained experience in TBWA's London & Hamburg offices. He worked with international accounts such as Adidas, Absolut, Nissan and with local accounts such as Akbank, Turk Telekom, Ulker. Over the course of 16 years at TBWA, he played a vital role in carrying TBWA\Istanbul to the top spot and to become the biggest and the most awarded agency in Turkey.

He currently leads the strategy team START and the digital insights and content team NABZ in TBWA Istanbul. He is also organising and moderating Disruption Workshops for clients on strategy, innovation and growth.

Toygun was a jury member in Euro Effies 2012, in Effie Turkey 2013.

He was a keynote speaker in Golden Drum Festival 2012, Kaktus Festival Belgrade 2015, Crystal Apple Festival Turkey 2015 & 2016, and in SXSW 2017.
